Towards Harnessing Learning Management Systems for Personalized Assessments in Primary Education
摘要
This study examines the impact of the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) on the learning assessment of primary school pupils. Two groups of students took part: an experimental group using the Moodle platform for scripted formative assessment activities, and a control group carrying out the same activities in the conventional way. The results show that the learning management system promotes the personalization of educational activities, enhances motivation, and improves the performance of engaged students. However, barriers such as limited access to digital tools and insufficient familiarity with the platform used, reduced the participation of a significant number of students. These findings underline the potential of LMSs to enrich assessment practices in the primary education cycle, while highlighting the need to overcome challenges related to accessibility and support.
