This chapter explores nurses’ systematic roles in intervention and outcomes through the lens of the NANDA International (NANDA-I) taxonomy, Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC), and Nursing Outcomes Classification (NOC) frameworks. The integration of these three essential tools enables nurses to deliver patient-centered care with precision, evidence-based rationale, and measurable outcomes. NANDA-I provides standardized nursing diagnoses that identify patients’ actual or potential health issues. These diagnoses guide the selection of appropriate interventions classified under NIC, which organizes nursing activities into a structured taxonomy. Meanwhile, NOC complements this process by defining expected outcomes that allow nurses to evaluate the effectiveness of their interventions. This chapter emphasizes the synergistic application of these frameworks in enhancing clinical decision-making, improving communication among healthcare teams, and fostering better patient outcomes. By adopting NANDA-I, NIC, and NOC, nurses not only meet the demands of contemporary healthcare but also contribute to advancing nursing as a science.

摘要
