Maxillofacial Trauma
摘要
The maxillofacial complex is a relatively small region with a highly dense cluster of important anatomical structures that support a variety of critical functions. Treatment and management of the maxillofacial trauma can range from observation to requiring surgical intervention. This chapter elucidates the examination of the maxillofacial trauma patients and discusses the indications of closed reduction versus open surgery for maxillofacial fractures.
