Light is an essential factor in plant life (in relation to photosynthesis) (Oppenheimer 1959; Billings 1978), and, at the level of the leaf, as we have already seen, it induces numerous morphological (Grigore 2022), but, above all, significant anatomical changes. In relation to the morphology and anatomical structure of the leaf, one can talk about adjustments and adaptations of the leaf in relation to the action (influence) of light, although sometimes, it is more difficult to discriminate between adjustment and adaptation (Schimper 1903; Clements 1907; Warming 1909a; Polunin 1960; Daubenmire 1974; Billings 1978; Larcher 1975; Barbour et al. 1980; Collinson 1988).
