We reviewed in a previous paper (Grigore 2022) some ecological aspects related to stem morphology. The anatomical structure of the stem also suggests the close connection of the plant with environmental factors, aspects that are visible, as we will see, especially in some ecological groups of plants (e.g., aquatic plants, hydrophytes, and marsh plants, helophytes).
