Conclusion
摘要
In this concluding chapter, we again reflect on the purpose of writing this manuscript, and we feature various scholars from around the world, showcasing 11 different countries. We remind the readers that our aim is to disrupt colonialist approaches to disability and inclusive education applied in the global South. The chapter highlights the key themes emerged from the research the contributing authors presented: (a) expanding inquiry by Indigenous scholars and allies in Indigenous communities; (b) enriching practitioner-oriented perspectives with disability knowledge; (c) advancing technological approaches to be used with marginalized communities; and (d) infusing teacher education research with intersectional approaches. Finally, in this chapter, we focus on the implications of dismantling colonizing research around the world, and we invite the readers to take a critical inclusive action.
