In this introductory chapter, we set the scope for writing this manuscript collaboratively with scholars from the global South and around the world. We begin by putting a lens on the rise of authoritarian forces aiming to destroy critical epistemologies of inclusion, diversity, and equity in the global North. We also highlight the conflicts, current genocides, and other struggles engineered by the global North and enacted in/on the global South. We do so because we believe it is crucial in the process of rethinking research methodologies for inclusive education globally, toward a more humanizing approach centering historically marginalized communities and researchers in the global South. In this chapter, we also introduce the content of each chapter in this manuscript, representing 11 countries across the world.

摘要
