This research article investigates the implementation of green port practices and their impact on corporate image in Malaysia. With growing concerns about environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility, ports are increasingly adopting green initiatives to reduce their ecological footprint and enhance their reputations. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combination of qualitative interviews with key industry stakeholders and a quantitative survey of port users, to comprehensively explore the relationship between green port practices and corporate image. The findings reveal that green port practices significantly contribute to the positive perception of corporate image among port users in Malaysia. These practices include the adoption of eco-friendly technologies, waste management strategies, energy conservation measures, and the promotion of environmental awareness within port operations. The study also identifies several factors that influence the successful implementation of green port practices, including government regulations, stakeholder collaboration, financial resources, and employee engagement. The research contributes to the existing literature by shedding light on the specific green port practices that are effective in enhancing corporate image, particularly in the context of the Malaysian port industry. The findings provide valuable insights for port operators, policymakers, and other relevant stakeholders, aiding them in formulating strategies to improve their environmental performance and corporate reputation.
