The mushroom farming industry is on the rise, and there is a growing demand for high-quality, sustainable production methods. However, mushroom cultivation can be challenging for growers, as it requires careful environmental control such as temperature and humidity, and can be labor-intensive. To address these challenges, this project is designed to automate the monitoring and controlling of growing conditions such as temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide levels in the cultivation environment. It focuses on incorporating AM2302 and MQ135 sensors with an ESP32 microcontroller to gather data, track parameters of the mushroom growth, and create a comprehensive Internet of Things (IoT) system using the Favoriot platform. Additionally, the user is alerted through Telegram when a specific threshold value is exceeded. The system was tested by observing the growth of mushrooms in a container, and some improvements were identified such as having a virtual button and camera module before it can be used in an industrial setting.
