Designing the Smile with Botulinum Toxin
摘要
One definition of smile design is developing an aesthetically pleasing smile by adhering to scientific and artistic parameters developed through research, perception, and cultural and racial standards that have been acknowledged over time. Facial aesthetics, lip dynamics, pink and white aesthetics, and personality are all factors considered in smile design, a dynamic discipline constantly growing alongside new trends. Modern smile designers must have a comprehensive grasp of the patient to create the ideal smile for their patients. The moment the doctor meets the patient, the oral examination starts. The first evaluation consists of a broad examination of the head and neck. The examiner should visually inspect asymmetry, bone deformities, and overt anomalies of the head, face, orbits, nose, chin, and neck. The patient’s dental, social, and family history should be obtained and recorded.
