Transcutaneous Suture Lifts: Eyebrows
摘要
The periorbital region, located in the upper third of the face, is of primary importance in reflecting facial aesthetics and expression. People communicate by looking into each other’s eyes in their mutual relationships. This causes the periorbital region to be the most conspicuous area of the face. This region includes the eyebrows and eyelids and varies by race, gender, and age. In particular, the eyebrow is known as the mainline of the face and is used as a reference point for all other angles of the face [1]. It forms the upper frame of the eye and expresses youth and attractiveness with its shape and position. Although many authors have tried to define the ideal eyebrow shape and position, it is only possible to achieve this partially. It is not possible to define an ideal eyebrow suitable for every face.
