Fat Injections as Volumizer on the Face: Overview
摘要
The restoration of traumatic, oncologic, or congenital abnormalities can be accomplished using a procedure known as fat grafting, which involves the injection of harvested fatty tissue beneath the skin. The method can also be used for cosmetic purposes, specifically to rejuvenate the lips and face. The phrase “autologous fat grafting” refers to the same process performed when the fat is collected from the individual who will also receive it. This is the most prevalent clinical case. Numerous individuals believe that autologous fat is the most suitable filler material for face rejuvenation. This is because it is completely biocompatible, yields a gentle and natural result, and is theoretically a permanent intervention. This article emphasizes the benefits this technique can provide for the renewal of the face. Fat grafting has emerged as the preferred method for treating a wide range of issues, such as facial scarring, lip augmentation, and facial rhytids (which include several places that would otherwise be difficult to treat, such as the nasolabial fold and glabellar furrows).
