In this chapter, we synthesize the contributions of the authors of this book to the limits of categories in different domains and how to overcome them by resignifying the world around us. This implies poetically reading between the lines and under the contents (Boulanger, Integr Psychol Behav Sci, 2022a) of the different chapters to uncover underlying epistemological and philosophical thematic currents and, foremost, to build on them to propose epistemological, philosophical, and theoretical avenues to go beyond these texts. Dialogically, we propose ways to understand the process underlying the construction, maintenance, imposition, and modification of categories. We do this in reference to the tension between systemic continuity and discontinuity and across ontological and sociogenetic stances.
