The focus is on Torpedo, Piercer, and IMSI-cracking attacks. The paper highlights how 5G advancements address these attacks. These advancements include improved paging protocols, the Subscription Concealed Identifier (SUCI), and enhanced encryption. This paper also looks at the disadvantages of implementing 5G technology. While 5G may offer substantial security improvements, this paper examines ongoing research to assess its effectiveness and fully identify new threats.
