This chapter focuses on another aspect of gauge theories—the duality, among them. By first introducing the key concepts of dual theories, it shows a fresh perspective built in this thesis on duality and its absence when the massive gauge theories are taken into account. This is worked out on two examples, considering the massive two- and three- forms that naturally arise in String Theory.

摘要
