In today's era of extensive interdisciplinary and rapid iteration of computer technology, the connotation and extension of architecture discipline have been expanded and various new paradigms have emerged. However, innovative theoretical research and project practice guided by built environment performance are still hot topics in the fields of architecture, engineering, and construction industry (AEC). Focusing on office buildings with high stock area and energy consumption among public building types, this study aims to investigate the differences in individual emotional perception under the influence of physical environment factors based on several hypotheses about the correlation between non-uniformity characteristics of space environment and user experience. To achieve this goal, a testing workflow has been developed that includes dynamic and complex content such as environmental simulation, subjective questionnaire evaluation, and human factors data extraction. And statistical methods were used to analyze the correlation and regularity between subjective sensory voting, objective physiological indicators (EEG signals), and environmental parameters. Evidence constructed from empirical data will serve as an important component of passive design expert knowledge, providing heuristic decision-making basis for architects and stakeholders to address pressing social issues such as “climate change” and “dual carbon goals”.
