This chapter proposes how to address computer science soft concepts and skills in the MTCS course. These topics are especially important today not only due to their influence on software development processes in educational settings (either school, academia or industry), but also due to current technological development that requires acquiring new skills and perspectives. These facts require computer science students and teachers, computer scientists, and software engineers to acquire, in addition to disciplinary and technical knowledge, additional kinds of skills: social (such as, teamwork and getting and giving feedback), cognitive (e.g., critical thinking and thinking in terms of different levels of abstraction), and organizational (e.g., familiarity with different kinds of organizations and different kinds of organizational cultures). This chapter is divided into two parts: computer science soft concepts (Sect. 6.2) and computer science soft skills (Sect. 6.3). For each topic, we explain its meaning, importance, and relevance, in the context of computer science education, along with wing, related activities for each topic.

摘要
