The Impact of the Digital Economy on the Transformation of Forms of International Business

The article analyzes the impact of business digitalization on the development and spread of its new forms. The paper considers the stages of digital transformation of the economy: information economy—digital economy—platform economy. The contribution of the digital economy to GDP is analyzed using the example of individual countries. Particular attention is paid to studying the impact of digital platforms on the development of e-commerce and the transition to new business models. The article highlights the challenges and risks faced by the development of international business in the context of digital transformation. The study forecasts the main trends in the development of e-commerce. Strategic proposals are formulated to improve the international competitiveness and economic security of business in the transition to a platform economy.
