This study examines if ubiquitous technology that creates complexity and incompatibility along with ease and efficiency is truly beneficial. It investigates the possibility of achieving balance between technology and wellbeing through lens of minimalism. The study done in urban Indian setup uses gamified physical probes prompting participants to reflect on their choices and gain insights into their behaviour. By posing progressively difficult questions that delve into hidden facets of wellbeing, environment, and media consumption, the study leads participants to assess the influence of their choices on their quality of life, leading them to self-awareness and self-realization. The study aims to enable participants to be conscious towards technology use, to consider not just immediate utility but also long-term effects on health and environment. By highlighting invisible costs, the study aims to empower individuals to make informed decisions that align with their wellbeing and values.
