Both antitumor and protumor effects may be attributed to the immune system’s complicated dual function in the body’s defense against cancer. Rehabilitation programs including exercise, nutrition, cognitive strategies, and psychological support have shown advantageous outcomes for individuals diagnosed with cancer throughout the course of the illness. These interventions have been found to enhance immune function, reduce the adverse effects of therapy, relieve symptoms, and enhance overall quality of life. The present chapter provides an overview of the immunological features associated with the field of cancer biology, with an examination of therapeutic interventions, including immunotherapy. It also examines models for integrating rehabilitation into comprehensive cancer care and investigates innovations such as telehealth and virtual reality. In general, rehabilitation plays a crucial role as a supplementary therapy, effectively collaborating with main cancer therapies to enhance results.
