Assistive Solutions in Software Development for Individuals With Hearing Impairment
摘要
This paper shows how smart AI tools, interactive quizzes, and gamification can solve problems related to traditional learning processes for hearing impaired students. We propose AI-powered solutions that act like tutors—using real-time camera feedback to correct sign language gestures instantly—and adaptive quizzes that feel like games, adjusting difficulty to improve the learning process. These assistive solutions are designed for different sign languages. Mostly focusing on American Bengali, and Russian. Pilot tests showed promising results: AI recognized signs faster than a blink (under 0.2 s), gamified quizzes reduced dropouts by 35%, and 59% of parents actively participated, proving families value such innovations. In the future, will include community-updated sign databases, and Ai-driven solutions to tailor lectures according to students’ attention levels. Ethics are still crucial: tools are developed with consultation from hearing-impaired individuals, data is kept private, and regional languages are preserved. This project intends to make learning sign language a dynamic, inclusive experience by mixing smart technology (AI, VR) with grassroots interaction, empowering users to not only learn but also develop in a connected world.
