Assessing the Effectiveness of Multimedia-Based E-Learning with Interactive Components: A Mann-Whitney Test Study
摘要
This paper investigates the effectiveness of e-learning enhanced with multimedia and interactive elements. The study involved two groups of students studying in e-learning format. The first group had access to theoretical material in the form of text-based lectures and presentations. The second group, in addition to the text-based material, was provided with video lectures accompanied by control questions (mini-tests) at the end of each video. The Mann-Whitney test was used to evaluate the differences in academic performance between the two groups. The results revealed that students in the second group, who had access to video lectures and interactive elements, performed statistically significantly better than those in the first group. These findings confirm that the integration of multimedia resources and interactive components enhances the effectiveness of e-learning. The results of the study can be useful for the development of educational programs in higher education aimed at improving the quality of learning through the introduction of modern information and pedagogical technologies. #CSOC1120.
