At present time the significant transformations are taking place, pushing artificial intelligence (AI) beyond traditional educational technology. However, there are concerns about the potential negative impacts of widespread adoption on students’ cognitive abilities. While AI has been researched, additional studies are still necessary to examine this variable's contribution to learning success. This investigation sought to ascertain the impact of AI strategy utilization on academic performance, emotional aptitude, and critical reasoning. This experimental study employed a pretest–posttest design with a control group in the academic year 2022–2023. Sampling was carried out using the multistage cluster random sampling method, utilizing the California Critical Thinking Skills Test (CTST). Participants were randomly allocated to two control (25 individuals) and experimental groups (25 individuals). Strategic training in AI was conducted with the experimental group. The outcomes of the data analysis using the covariance method indicated that AI had a positive impact on students’ academic performance, emotional intelligence, and critical reasoning skills. Explanations and implications of the study's results, along with recommendations for future research, are provided. It is suggested that additional methods and models for utilizing Artificial Intelligence be considered. Moreover, it is recommended that comparable future studies investigate diverse educational stages. Through the implementation of these pedagogical strategies, we can expect an improvement in the quality of teachers’ instruction.

摘要
