The Influence of Perceived Organisational Support, Trust and Respect, as Well as Workload on Employee Performance in a Hybrid Work Model Mediated by Engagement
摘要
This research aimed to analyse the effect of Perceived Organisational Support, Trust and Respect, and Workload on Employee Performance in a hybrid work model with Employee Engagement as a mediating variable. Changes in work system due to the COVID-19 pandemic allowed organisations to implement a hybrid work model to increase employee flexibility and productivity. A quantitative method was used with data collection through a survey of 197 respondents working in different organisations in Jakarta. A purposive sampling method was used to select employees working with a hybrid model. Furthermore, data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with AMOS 24 software. The results showed that Employee Engagement strengthened influence of Perceived Organisational Support on Employee Performance with an increase in R2 value of 20%. High organisational support, trust and respect improved employee engagement and performance. In addition, this research contributed to human resource management in the era of flexible working and recommended the development of policies focused on employee well-being and engagement.
