Knowledge hiding has been identified as a very critical factor in any organization. Cyber incivility and employee cynicism reinforce corporate knowledge hiding. Drawing on social exchange theory (SET). This study aimed to examine the impact of employee cynicism between cyber Incivility and Knowledge Hiding. An electronic survey was distributed to the employees of private universities in the northern area of Jordan. The data obtained were analyzed using the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. Depending on SET we show that employee cynicism moderates the relationship between cyber incivility and knowledge hiding. General Implications are discussed.
