Recently, amino-acid FET PET has been suggested as an adjunct in the presurgical work-up for corticotrope adenoma. In this report we present two cases confirming the usefulness of [18F]FET PET in Cushing’s disease. In the first case [18F]FET PET was concordant with the MRI findings, whereas in the second case, no clear corticotrope adenoma could be discerned while [18F]FET PET did show a focal uptake concordant with a corticotrope adenoma.
