Climate change and disinformation are key issues in the global political agenda. While patterns specific to the disinformation phenomenon apply to climate change disinformation as well, it is important to also be aware of and address its specificities. This chapter aims to do this by first looking at content, strategies, actors and public specific to this type of content in order to then focus on solutions. While many aspects are particularly related to climate change disinformation, it may be worth recalling the historic role and investments of the industry as well as the capacity of this content to enter the broader divisive content and audience of a polarised society.
