Routing in Internet of Thing (IoT) by Jellyfish Search Optimization Algorithm
摘要
One of the most commonly used Internet of Things (IoT) wireless technologies for sensor communication is the routing protocol for low-power and lossy networks (RPLs). The importance of an energy-efficient protocol for routing in facilitating environmental data transmission between linked objects is another key consideration. Power loss during data transmission is one of the biggest problems facing the IoT. As the IoT relies on devices which have limited resources and minimum energy consumption is a crucial goal. However, there are issues with energy conservation because of the IoT devices within networks limited resources and low computational capacity. In this study, an advanced and trustworthy energy-efficient solution for IOT-RPL is attained through the application of a jelly fish-based optimization technique. This study introduced the jellyfish algorithm for selecting cluster heads and the Heuristic Moth Search Algorithm (HMSA) for determining the most effective routes for data transmission while minimising energy consumption. This method keeps the energy efficiency of the IoT intact while avoiding congestion with lower assured delays.
