This study aims to analyze and evaluate the impact of management and technological factors on safety levels in tunnel construction projects. Utilizing data from completed tunnel projects and interviews with industry experts, the research focuses on identifying the relationship between construction team experience, material quality, and the effectiveness of safety measures with the frequency and severity of incidents. The analytical methods include descriptive statistics and regression analysis to determine factors significantly affecting safety. The results show that construction team experience, material quality, and safety measures are closely linked to the frequency and severity of incidents in tunnel construction. Notably, the implementation of advanced management and monitoring technologies, such as remote monitoring and the use of modern technologies, has significantly contributed to mitigating risks related to ground subsidence, water ingress, and tunnel collapse. This research highlights the importance of investing in workforce training and technological advancements to enhance management effectiveness and safety in tunnel construction. These findings provide a scientific basis for developing effective policies and intervention strategies, ensuring the success and safety of future tunnel construction projects.
