AI-Enhanced Halal Tourism Services, Trust and Satisfaction: The Mediating and Moderating Role
摘要
This conceptual paper explores the role of AI-enhanced services in halal tourism, focusing on how traveler satisfaction mediates the relationship between these services and trust in service providers. AI-driven technologies offer personalized, halal-compliant experiences, significantly boosting satisfaction and fostering trust. The findings contribute to halal tourism literature by highlighting satisfaction as a critical mediator, showing that trust is built on religious compliance and service quality. The study also extends reference group theory, illustrating how Muslim travelers’ satisfaction and trust are shaped by their religious communities. This underscores AI’s potential to align travel experiences with cultural and religious expectations, ultimately driving Muslim travelers’ satisfaction, trust, and loyalty.
