The Role of the State in Development of Competition as a Key Institutional Prerequisite in Conditions of the Welfare Economy

The actuality of the stated topic is determined by the necessity to provide activization of competition as a key institutional prerequisite in conditions of welfare economy. In the article the role of the state in activation competition is stressed in current conditions. The authors describe the relationship between the development of institutions and welfare. The stress is done on the necessity to stimulate the qualitative changes in production thanks to activization of perfect competition, i.e. changes in technologies and new approaches of labor using should be supported. In this case, it will be possible to move towards welfare. The diversity of entrepreneurial forms at the market and using by them different marketing toolkits to compete does not always bring to the real qualitative economic development though it obviously raises the added supply and the added demand as well as the other quantitative indicators of growth. The experience of some developed countries of the world in their renovation after the World War II was studied and the crucial role of the state in stimulating the growth was stressed. In general, in conditions of the afterwar renovation in Ukraine it is reasonable to consider using the experience of developed countries to create the favorable institutional environment, in particular activization of competition, for welfare raising.
