The purpose of this study is to find out how employees in the Eastern Cape Province perceive the relationship between engagement and organizational performance. Although most businesses use financial metrics as key performance indicators, enhancing long-term success often requires a more comprehensive viewpoint. To address this, the research used the Balanced Scorecard (BSC), including performance metrics that included financial, customer, internal process, and learning and development dimensions with specific indications. A quantitative research methodology was used, and data were gathered via a cross-sectional self-administered survey of 428 workers from private enterprises using a convenience sample strategy. Consequently, the premise posited in the research was validated: the degree of involvement positively and statistically significantly influenced all dimensions of the Balanced Scorecard. These results need a focus on engagement to improve financial performance, customer happiness, operational efficiency, and innovation inside businesses. By implementing employee engagement strategies, firms in the Eastern Cape and other locations may get both immediate and long-term organisational enhancements, therefore fostering a sustainable future in today’s competitive market.
