Therefore, this study investigates to examine the extent of financial literacy and inclusion and its impact on financing from Islamic Financial Institutions, in a uniquely regulated area. In this study a random survey approach was used to reach out to the community, for the purpose of data collection involving analysis of responses from 207 participants, through linear regression techniques to test the hypotheses. The results show that although the level of financial literacy is generally high, in areas where regulation and support for Islamic Financial Institutions financing activities are in place; financial inclusion does not have a significant impact on this type of financing. Furthermore, the study highlights that 68.60% of survey participants have never taken a bank loan, indicating a gap between the level of financial literacy and adoption of services, in regulated areas.
