This study aims to examine the merits of key experiential dimensions of the tourist experience—specifically emotions, co-creation, and memories—as antecedents of destination image, overall satisfaction, and loyalty intentions within a unified nomological framework. Employing a quantitative approach, this study utilized a survey questionnaire and applied Structural Equation Modeling for a comprehensive analysis. The findings suggest a substantial effect of emotions and the co-creation experience on tourists’ evaluation of the destination image. Additionally, memories were found to be significant predictors of tourists’ overall satisfaction with their destination experience. Also, this research underscores the fundamental role of destination image in tourists’ overall satisfaction and their subsequent loyalty intentions. Primarily, this study moves beyond mere objective, attribute-based assessments of the destination to evaluate subjective tourist responses in a North African tourist destination, thereby advancing knowledge on destination attractiveness and destination experience perspectives.
