Emotional Intelligence is an Important factor for any entrepreneur in order to balance the business houses and achieve success. It is quite tough to continue the business in the current environment. Entrepreneurs are confronted with Problems such as capital availability, worker availability, infrastructure, understanding worker conflict, family problems, and now this pandemic situation have made entrepreneurs’ business lives more difficult. They must manage their emotions as well as their business in this uncertain environment. Research primarily focuses on the entrepreneurs of small-scale industries of Mangalore Taluk. The researcher held interaction and interviewed the entrepreneurs so as to study the role of emotional intelligence on small scale entrepreneurs. Analysis of Primary data on the socio-economic profile is essential to understand the importance of Emotional Intelligence. The main aim of the study is to learn about the significance of emotional intelligence and the relationship between entrepreneurs and emotional intelligence and this study also investigates the importance of emotional intelligence in improving business quality and performance. Reliability of the scale items is tested using Cronbach Alpha Coefficient and underlying aspects of dimensions of Emotional Intelligence on Small-Scale Entrepreneurs in the Current Uncertain Business Environment. The hypothesis is tested using linear regression, and the results reject the null hypothesis while accepting the alternative hypothesis. According to the study, emotional intelligence has an effect on small-scale entrepreneur performance, and there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and job performance in today’s uncertain business environment.
