It is argued that Global citizenship education (GCE) is pivotal for addressing pressing global issues through local actions and contextualized educational frameworks. The three narratives presented illustrate how GCE can be uniquely implemented within African universities to nurture students who are informed, proactive, and responsive to the challenges of global justice, sustainability, and peace. These narratives not only show the adaptability of GCE concepts but also highlight the innovative ways these concepts can be tailored to the distinct cultural, economic, and social contexts of each institution.
