On a Democratic, Open, and Critical Genre of African Philosophy of Higher Education and Its Ramifications for Teaching-Learning
摘要
This chapter provides an understanding of an African philosophy of higher education that is democratic, open, and critically reasonable. It is argued to be democratic is to be engaging; to be open is to show a willingness to otherness; and to be critically reasonable is to be persuaded by tenable reasons. In this way, the democratic, open, and reasonable virtues of an African philosophy of higher education are made transparent.
