The environmental component of the modernization of metallurgical production remains relevant all over the world. In particular, in Ukraine, the issue of environmental modernization of enterprises in the conditions of the post-war reconstruction of the country is appropriate. Within the framework of the development of Industry 4.0 as an innovative trend in Ukraine, projects that stimulate the development of smart production, its optimization with the use of advanced technologies, and artificial intelligence are welcomed. The paper considers a project to modernize sintering plant No. 2 in the conditions of PJSC KAMET-STEEL. The project is implemented in three directions—improving the sintering technology, overhauling sintering machine No. 7, and improving the process of gas purification of process gases and aspiration of the main dust removal units. A schedule for the phased implementation of the project is proposed, and the list and quantity of equipment planned to be used are determined. The considered measures for the modernization of the sinter plant will allow to increase the productivity of the sinter plant up to 5.6 million tons/year of sinter, to achieve a dust content in the atmosphere of no more than 30 mg/nm3 and to reduce the total dust content at the sinter plant by 20% (which meets the requirements of Directive 2008/50/EC). A feasibility study of the feasibility of the modernization of the sinter plant of PJSC KAMET-STEEL is presented, and the possibility of obtaining an economic effect from the proposed technical solutions is determined.

摘要
