To fulfil human needs, industrial revolution caused side-effects and disturbed the natural processes. Pollution, climate change, energy crisis etc. are hot topics these days. To mitigate these issues, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UNO, are meant to conserve and enhance available resources. Every individual has right to have healthy, safe and clean environment, and thus, has a role to play to achieve these rights. An institute, especially a university, has a key role to play. Besides giving awareness and education to the professionals and constructors of tomorrow, a university shall be the role model to depict sustainable communities and infrastructure. It has a purpose-built campus that provides conducive and healthy teaching and research environment by having green infrastructure (green spaces, lush green lawns, big and small shady and fruit trees, water-absorbent hard spaces), solar panels on roofs/parking, and green buildings. This book chapter outlines initiatives and practices of the private institution located in the capital of Pakistan for green campus which directly and indirectly inculcate sustainability in its student population.
