Striking the Balance: Traditional and Technological Innovation in Learning
摘要
Modern technologies are frequently employed in educational settings. Considerably more technology has been used in the last few years with high advancements in the field of education. The availability of more advanced technological products and services at significantly reduced prices is another factor contributing to this increase in use of technologies in teaching and learning process. Moreover, the adaptability and compatibility of students to technological aids is considerably high when compared to the traditional methods. Consequently, numerous educational multimedia products like online courses, teaching aids, educational software, social networking tools, and other emerging technologies have been created, greatly impacting the teaching and learning across a range of levels. Yet, it is not evident just where this technology fits into the process of teaching and learning. In other words, to what extent this technology-assisted education improves and enhances the learning and elevates traditional materials? In what way are they anticipated to improve or outperform the conventional teaching approaches in terms of learning efficacy? The present research work tries to comprehend the impact that technological innovations have brought in on stakeholders by developing strategies and procedures to manage and routinize the use of technology in higher education.
