The paper presents a novel approach for teaching two dimensional statically determinate particle equilibrium. The method is based on enumerating and tabulating all the possible variations of the unknown parameters in those problems. The unknown parameters in the problems considered could be the magnitudes or directions of a force vector, or the magnitude of one force vector and the direction of another. By tabulating the solution to each category, the student only needs to identify and choose the proper category from the Table. This frees the student from the need to deal with involved mathematical manipulations, and greatly increases his confidence in tacking Statics problems.
