The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered permanent transformations in the global work environment, primarily through the widespread adoption of hybrid and distributed work. These changes have irreversibly altered the future of network management in the technological field. Therefore, they have become a key driver of business growth, and 97% of CIOs and CTOs consider them essential to achieving their objectives. This has driven an increase in investment in technology, although many organizations remain dissatisfied with their current capabilities, leading them to outsource these services. The objective of this study was to implement the Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) technology with Cisco Meraki to improve the network management of a construction company in Peru. The applied methodology is PPDIOO, which comprises six phases: Prepare, plan, design, implement, operate, and optimize. The results show an increase in the bandwidth, a reduction in jitter to 2–4 ms, and an improvement in the link capacity from 400 to 500 Mbps. In addition, the quality of service (MOS) index rose from 4.4 to 4.7, which improved user satisfaction. In conclusion, SD-WAN with Cisco Meraki significantly improved corporate network performance and management.
