In today’s era of rapidly evolving immersive technologies and increasingly digitized and virtualized economy, the agri-food industry, among many other sectors, requires innovative and more digitalized technological solutions. By carefully studying the essential oil extraction process and choosing the adequate software and programs, we have developed a Virtual Reality (VR) application specifically designed to digitalize the lavender essential oil extraction process, modernize and enhance training methods within the agri-food industry, while safely bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. Today, digitalization is an essential process to ensure an optimal training more complete than ever.
