The article reveals a comprehensive approach to ensuring information security when processing biometric personal data in modern identification and authentication systems. The methodology for protecting biometric vectors at all stages of their life cycle is presented, based on the use of certified cryptographic information protection tools and trusted software of Russian production. Special emphasis is placed on creating a secure architecture for biometric terminals using a trusted computing environment based on ARM processors. Models of secure interaction with the Unified Biometric System (UBS) and the system of interdepartmental electronic interaction have been developed. A theoretical analysis of the effectiveness of the proposed solutions for access control systems (ACS) and biometric acquiring has been conducted.
