This paper presents RCzechia, a software package that facilitates spatial data processing and visualization within the context of the statistical programming language R by providing relevant spatial information in the context of the Czech Republic. The package provides a curated set of popular shapefiles in R friendly format. It includes both natural features, such as rivers and terrain, and administrative areas. Thus, it provides a service to both physical and social science practitioners. In order to illustrate the possible scope of usage, a sample statistical workflow is presented from both social and natural science aspects.
