Due to the complexity and diversity of script-based frameworks, choosing the appropriate one is not only a challenge for developers but also a crucial factor that can significantly impact the performance and further development of applications. This can be a daunting task for both beginners and experienced developers selecting a framework for a larger project. The choice of a framework is a crucial part of project development. Therefore, the main challenge for developers is usually to select the appropriate framework to successfully carry out their work. It is important to carefully research and consider various script-based frameworks before making the final decision. This paper aims to provide an analysis of the performance of different frameworks, explore the fundamental factors influencing their selection, and offer useful guidance to developers in making informed decisions regarding the choice of frameworks for their web applications. In this research, an empirical investigation was made of selected features of 4 recently popular scripting frameworks according to selected metrics: interaction speed, memory consumption, packet size, and number of lines of code. The results showed that Svelte stood out as the working environment with the best performance, surpassing all the others in all the tests conducted. React.js and Vue.js, using the virtual DOM to manipulate the real DOM, recorded slightly worse performance measurement results, while Solid.js was positioned in the middle.

摘要
