Quantum Networks Seen as Complex Networks
摘要
Quantum networks, with their unparalleled capabilities for secure communication tasks, are progressing at a rapid pace and, although they are still in their infancy, they are expected to be integrated to the Internet in the medium term. After a description of the unique features of quantum networks with their advantages and drawbacks, we present and justify an abstract elementary model of quantum networks from the point of view of complex network science. The model is a version of a random dynamical network that takes into account the main quantum concepts implied in quantum communications, i.e., entanglement, entanglement swapping, and teleportation.
