This paper examines developing technologies to address universal food security challenges, concentrating on precision agriculture, vertical farming, and blockchain-enabled supply chains. Through a comprehensive literature analysis and review of case studies, we examine how these technologies can increase agricultural productivity, optimize resource use, and enhance supply chain transparency. We discuss the synergies created by integrating these technologies and identify potential barriers to their widespread adoption. Our conclusion recommends that while these technologies offer significant promise, their implementation must be accompanied by careful consideration of economic, social, and ethical implications, particularly in developing world contexts.
