This paper explores the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and aesthetic theory, investigating how AI technologies are influenced by various aesthetic paradigms. The study examines the manifestations of ‘isms’ such as classicism, modernism and postmodernism in the field of AI-generated design. By analyzing AI's ability to mimic, innovate, and transcend traditional aesthetic frameworks, the evolving role of AI, both as a tool and a collaborator in creative processes is highlighted. In this context, the study examines housing design within different aesthetic paradigms using text-to-image technology. Texts representing selected art movements were created and inputted into AI interfaces, generating visual outputs that were analyzed. The primary objective is to analyze how AI produces results under different aesthetic paradigms and evaluate the alignment of these results with the aesthetic perceptions of the movements. Additionally, the study discusses the extent to which AI conforms to aesthetic paradigms, its creative potential, and its limitations. The findings indicate that while AI demonstrates a high capacity for understanding and applying certain aesthetic paradigms, it faces limitations with some concepts. These insights provide implications for the future of AI-driven design processes and the role of AI in aesthetic evaluations. The study’s core motivation is to contribute to the discourse on the impact of AI-generated aesthetics on architectural production, artistic creativity, and the future of art and design. By comprehensively understanding the dynamic relationship between AI and aesthetic paradigms, the study aims to offer insights into how AI is reshaping the landscape of visual and conceptual creativity.

摘要
