Rotationally Asymmetric Multifocal Intraocular Lens
摘要
Rotationally asymmetric multifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs) provide good visual and refractive outcomes with few photic phenomena. The improvement in near vision depends on the near power addition selected by the surgeon. The IOLs with a near power of +3.00 D provide better near visual outcomes than those with a + 1.50 D addition; however, visual quality is better with the later. Due to the limited availability of rotationally asymmetric multifocal IOLs in the market, the scientific evidence is not as extensive as that for other presbyopia correcting intraocular lenses.
